Muslims And Christians Seeking Harmony

 

I was invited to a Christian school in Karachi to speak at a meeting of Muslims and Christians seeking to prepare their hearts to receive one another with brotherly love. 

Religious leaders, Social and Political leaders, Peace Committees and Government leaders were invited.

My speech was based upon 2 Chronicles 7:12-14 which led to my suggesting to all these people: “Let us repent on behalf of all Pakistanis and have a right relationship with God and each other.” I said, “We always blame others but why don’t we point our finger towards ourselves as the stumbling stones in the transformation of this nation?” Finally, I led all of them in a prayer of confession of our sins. It was a great time with them. There were about 100 people in attendance and the Principal of the school served lunch after the meeting.
