Pesrure & Gujranwala

 

I was invited to preach in a convention and teach a seminar for three days in Punjab (Pesrure) near Sialkot. Having heard that I was coming to that side, a man made a phone call to me asking, “Please visit in our city and preach.” I said, “No, your city is on one side and I have to go to the other side. I don’t want to become tired from too much traveling.” But he persisted, so I agreed to come a day early and grant his request. I landed at Sialkot Airport on the 4th and the man was there with his car and driver to pick me up. My program in Pesrure was to begin the 5th. We went to his city and then to a nearby village – the place where I had initially not wanted to go. A Roman Catholic Church was opened for me to preach and the entire village was gathered together to hear the Gospel along with my testimony. There were around 200 people and after the message, when I gave the alter call, there were only 20 who were still sitting, showing that “we are born again”, but all others were standing to repeat the sinners prayer after me. They gave me so much love that I cannot express it in words. No doubt that His ways are difficult to comprehend.

On the evening of the 5th, I preached in the grounds of Pesrure Mission School to 1,500 people. After the message there were 250 who gave their hearts to Jesus. Then on the 6th I had a seminar to equip believers to reach the lost. There were only 40 participants. That same evening I preached and there were about 4000 people who heard the Gospel and 400 people gave their hearts to Jesus. People became living advertisements of His mighty works.

Again we had a seminar on the morning of the 7th and there were 60 participants to whom I gave some challenges for reaching the lost.

In the evening I preached where there were 6,000 people and 700 responded to the Gospel at my alter call. The Lord is so good that I can’t explain His wonderful works. People honored me a lot and I said, “It is all because of Jesus who is in me. It is not because I am something but only because of Jesus. I was Zero but now, in Christ Jesus, praise the Lord I am His Hero. So I give all the glory to my Jesus.”

On the 8th I returned to Karachi and preached in a convention the same evening while my throat was very heavy and painful because of the speaking engagements in Punjab. There were 450 people in this convention and 103 committed themselves to Jesus.

I want to share with you that many people in these programs asked me, “Please pray for us.” I told them clearly, “I am not a healer but only His servant. I can just pray for you along with other believers. Healing comes only from Jesus, not from the East or the West.” A lot of people received healing in Jesus’ name in these meetings. In Pesrure a Muslim man who was possessed by evil spirits was healed in a meeting. I had not asked people to come forward to share testimonies but he came on the stage and told me what happened to him. Please continue to pray because the Lord is opening doors for me to teach the people to follow the divine vision and preach the message of the Gospel boldly and wisely.
